One of the most universally beloved residents of the Moscow Zoo, the Pallas's cat Timofey, sensed, so to speak, that spring was in the air back at the end of January. At that point this furry little darling began to show activity, energy, and cheerfulness. The eternal recluse began to come out of his cozy little house, to the delight of zoo visitors, to sit on the porch and squint at the sun.

Another argument in favor of the idea that the little Pallas's cat, like many, is awaiting spring, is that he has begun to be indifferent to treats. As if he is decisively «saying»: «That's it, enough, the fattening-up is over!». By the way, one can already observe the first results of Timosha's «diet»: he has begun to easily slip into his closed-off area through the «little window» in a tree hollow. The ease with which the little cat does this is precisely the proof that the warm days really are very, very close.
«Judging by the way the Pallas's cat squeezes through his «little window,» everything is fine with his weight», - say the staff of the Moscow Zoo.
