Plants
The simplest way to transform the look of a gazebo is with the help of plants. When choosing them, it’s important to remember that flowers, like any other «green» decor, should match the overall style of the structure. For example, for gazebos with a pergola or in the country style (both made entirely of wood), it’s not recommended to use bright colors. Shrubs are well suited for them, for instance, grapevines with lush vines and hanging clusters. If you do decide to add bright colors to the gazebo’s decor, the floral decor will look better in a cachepot – a decorative vase for a plant pot. Such decorations can be floor-standing or hanging, which gives plenty of room for imagination.
Lanterns, candles, and string lights
These decorations will help make the gazebo’s atmosphere cozier and even romantic. The main thing is to choose exactly the lantern whose shape and design fit the style of the overall structure. Candles can complement the lamps or serve as a separate element of decor. There are so many different kinds: with a real flame or electric, scented or floating in a vessel of water.
String lights long ago ceased to be part of New Year decorations exclusively. Among the wide variety, you can find lights to suit your taste and the style of your gazebo. These can be string lights in the form of Chinese lanterns, a curtain of tiny bulbs, or individual battery-operated lamps.
Outdoor lamps and fountains
Outdoor lighting and decorative fountains can also look striking in a relaxation area on your plot. Lamps, for example, will not only make moving around the plot more comfortable and less likely to cause injury, but will also give it a finished and well-kept appearance. A path of small garden lanterns can be laid to a cozy gazebo. Many outdoor lamps today run on solar batteries, so they don’t require extra spending on electricity.
Fountains can be installed outside or inside the gazebo. They can be made of natural materials, plastic, or metal. Small fountains running on batteries or large models with additional decorations. In addition to aesthetic pleasure, a water fountain will freshen the air, which will make gatherings in the gazebo more comfortable.
Decorative glass
With the help of multicolored glass, you can create an original pattern on the window openings or inside the gazebo itself. When the sun begins to shine through the little panes of glass, the space will fill with multicolored, muted light. It’s important to approach the choice of the pattern’s shades responsibly. At different times of day it can look different, and the color of the stained glass will affect your mood. To make the look of the gazebo more calming, it’s better to choose green or blue shades, and if you want it more lively – then yellow or orange. The main thing is, don’t be afraid to experiment with shapes, patterns, and color schemes – then you’ll manage to create a gazebo that will truly be to your liking!
