The Nimbus 2000 – the most famous flying broom of the Harry Potter universe. Young Harry received it as a gift from Professor McGonagall back in the first book of the series.
Of course, every fan of the saga about the boy who lived dreams of getting hold of such an artifact. Canadian enthusiast craftsmen are ready to make the dream come true. The creators of the YouTube channel Hacksmith Industries are constantly inventing something, and this time they came up with a real flying broom.
The clip from the flight tests, which was posted on Youtube, racked up almost 400,000 views in 3 days. True, this wonder-device can only fly over water. After all, it is in fact a modified version of a foilboard, that is, a windsurfing board with a hydrofoil that pushes the board up off the surface of the water.
To make everything as believable as possible, a motor was attached to the board. They did have to tinker, though, not only with the decoration but also with shifting the center of gravity. In the end, however, the inventors succeeded. They do, however, warn: you should not try to perform their stunts yourself.
